The Leader District 116 Needs to Deliver Results for our Community
Matt Leber was born and raised in Coastal North Carolina.
Matt served his country between 1991 and 1998, as a paratrooper and in the 10th special forces.
He is a decorated combat veteran who was awarded the Army Commendation Medal after 5 years in Germany and Bosnia.
After earning his degree in Business Management and because of the events of 9/11, Matthew continued his service to our nation by working for multiple Federal Agencies until 2011. He and his wife Michele operate a rental business with homes in South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
Matt, his wife, and their three children live in Johns Island.
Matt is running for office because he has been repeatedly disappointed by politicians who promised small open government and low regulations and have only made things worse.
I’m an unapologetic conservative, during and AFTER the political primaries are over. I will raise and never stop raising that winning bold banner for you in Columbia.
I support school choice, especially for minority children that Democrats want to keep locked in failing schools.
I am pro-life. Period. My opponent walked out of a vote to protect the unborn, rather than stay and take a stand.
“Shall not infringe” is not ambiguous nor is it up for debate. I will oppose any state or Federal regulations that infringe on our right to "BEAR ARMS"
Full transparency - Current reporting requirements do not tell you the taxpayer of conflicts of interest.
No pork barrel projects - My opponent voted for a list of purely pork barrel projects across the state. These projects were just $ in a list, with no substantial background or accountability. This is unacceptable.
Road maintenance must be given a higher percentage of state transportation dollars.
My opponent has provided no leadership in these areas.
